Multi-Championship Winners:
- Nancy Chapman (above) won eight state championships in swimming, more than any Baron in any sport: 1961 (200 and 400 Yard Freestyle), 1962 (200 and 400 Yard Freestyle), 1963 (100 Yard Butterfly and 400 Yard Freestyle), and 1964 (100 Yard Butterfly and 200 Yard Freestyle Relay).
- Andy Guy won six state championships in track, more than any Baron in any boys sport: 1963 (100 and 220 Yard Dash), 1964 (100 and 220 Yard Dash), and 1965 (100 Yard Dash and 440 Yard Relay).
- Ray Harrelson won four state championships in wrestling, more than any Baron wrestler, and the first wrestler in state history to accomplish this: 1961 (127 lbs.), 1962 (133 lbs.), 1963 (145 lbs.), and 1964 (154 lbs).
- Eddie Branch won three state championships in track: 1965 (Pole Vault and 440 Yard Relay), 1966 (Pole Vault)
