1960 Baron Basketball captains were Guy Camuso and Timo Kokko.
1961 Baron Basketball finished 0-20. Captains were Guy Camuso (30) and Bill Woodall (22). 
1961 Baron Girls Basketball captains were Gene Skypek and Gail Cox.
1962 Baron Basketball finished 12-10 and advanced to the state playoffs where they were defeated by North Whitfield. Captains were Timo Kokko and Bill Woodall. Most valuable player was Bill Woodall. Top rebounder was John Olson. 
1962 Baron Girls Basketball finished 1-18. Most Valuable Player was Gail Cox.
1963 Baron Basketball finished 10-13.
1963 Baron Girls Basketball finished 15-7. Captains were Linda King and Judy Hall.
1964 Baron Basketball finished 7-15. Captains were Roger Anderberg and Byron Farmer.
1964 Baron Girls Basketball finished 14-6.
1965 Baron Basketball finished 9-12. Doug Stott (42) led scoring (311 points), set the single-season free-throw record (75.1 percent) and the single-game rebound record (21, vs. Druid Hills), and played basketball at Davidson College.  Bob Buck (54) was leading rebounder (205) and played basketball at Brown University. 
1965 Baron Girls Basketball finished 9-13.
1966 Baron Basketball finished 22-4 (best record in BHS history), won the Cross Keys Christmas Basketball Tournament, and advanced to the state playoffs where they were defeated by Baker (28-0) by two points in overtime. Donn James (32) played basketball at Furman University and Ron Welch (back row, far left) played basketball at the University of Miami.
1966 Baron Girls Basketball advanced to the state playoffs where they were defeated by South Cobb.
1967 Baron Basketball finished 17-5 and won the Cross Keys Christmas Basketball Tournament. Jim Whittemore (34) and Chuck Dowdle (52) played basketball at Brigham Young University and the University of Georgia, respectively.
1967 Baron Girls Basketball finished 14-5.
1968 Baron Basketball finished 17-6 and was the WQXI Team of the Week for defeating Decatur (#1 in state).
1968 Baron Girls Basketball finished 13-6 and advanced to the state playoffs where they were defeated by Southwest DeKalb.
1969 Baron Basketball finished 13-9.
1969 Baron Girls Basketball finished 7-13.
1970 Baron basketball finished 9-13. The Decatur DeKalb News Era named David Ruben (25) as one of its "Super 5" best five basketball players in DeKalb County in the five year period of 1969-1973.
1970 Baron Girls Basketball finished 4-9.
1971 Baron Basketball finished 15-9 advanced to the state playoffs where they were defeated by Avondale (22-1) by two points. The Decatur DeKalb News Era named Chuck Steinbruegge (14) as one of its "Super 5" best five high school players in DeKalb County during the five-year period 1969-1973, calling him "one of the state's finest players" and reporting that he set new single season and single game scoring records. As a senior he led the region in scoring with 23 points per game.

1973 Baron Basketball finished 5-20. Marc Allard won the Most Valuable Player Award and Kim Fox won the Best Defender Award.
1973 Baron Girls Basketball finished 16-7.
1974 Baron Basketball was the first coached by Ralph Nunn. The team featured All-County Player Art Adams (17.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game), All-County Player Mike Blackman (17 points per game and #2 in the county with an 82.4 free throw  percentage) and Mike Lee (County field goal leader, 65.7 percentage).

1976 Baron Basketball finished 18-9, the most wins by BHS in ten years. Ralph Nunn was DeKalb County Coach of the Year. Corky Umstead (24), averaged 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists per game and played for West Georgia College, where he was the assist leader and an Academic All American. John Larrimore (32), signed with DeKalb College.

1985 Baron Girls Basketball finished 10-12 and are among the county leaders for fewest points allowed in a season (622) and best defensive scoring average(28.3). Captains were Lou Hopkins and Willieann Kelly. Top rebounder was Lou Hopkins. Top scorer was Willieann Kelly.


1986 Baron Basketball finished 6-14.

1986 Baron Girls Basketball finished 12-9 and remains among the county leaders for fewest points allowed in a season (785 points).


1987 Baron Basketball finished 5-18.
